On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Premodern Islmaic World Lecture Series collaborated with the Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies and the Department of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies to host an event titled, "Logic for “Cleansing”: Reassessing Ibn al-Ṣalāḥ’s Contentious Fatāwā. The event features Fouad Ben Ahmed is a historian of philosophy and rational sciences in Islam, particularly from the time of al-Ghazālī to the post-Ibn Rushd period.
