HPI Racing Is Back! NEW Venture 18 U4 Bronco Review!

HPI Racing just released their new Venture 18 U4 Bronco 4400, and it’s an eye-catching 1/18 scale rig that’s all about fun. Fully licensed by Ford and available in Loren Healy and Vaughn Gittin Jr. liveries, the Venture 18 comes in brushed ($150) and brushless ($200) options, both featuring a two-speed transmission for added versatility, metal gears throughout, multifunctional light systems, and more. It looks fantastic, drives great, and delivers a ton of fun on the trail.

That said, this truck feels a bit conflicted. The U4 body and weight distribution make rock crawling a challenge, while the straight axles and locked diffs keep it from being a full-blown mini Ultra 4 truck. In this video, I put it through its paces and share where it shines, and where it struggles.
