How about that season 2 finale of HBO show The Gilded Age? In this video, Jordan and Kayla try Victorian recipes from a cookbook written in 1889 by Helen Stuart Campbell. They also discuss the popularity of French chefs in the Gilded Age and why they were so vital to families such as the Vanderbilts, Astors and Duponts and the fictional Russells.
