One Day at Saqqara and Dahshur

We stayed at Soul Pyramid View Hotel adjacent to the Great Pyramids of Giza. We took a full day tour to see the pyramids 40 miles South of the Great Pyramids. We visited:
Saqqara:
The Step Pyramid of Djoser, first Egyptian pyramid to be built.
The Pyramid of Unas, first known pyramid containing Pyramid Texts.
Serapeum of Saqqara, ancient Egyptian burial place for sacred bulls of the
Apis cult at Memphis.
Tomb of Mereruka
Kagemni Tomb
The Teti Pyramid, the second known pyramid containing Pyramid Texts.

Dahshur:
The Red Pyramid, the third largest pyramid in Egypt and was built during the
reign of Pharaoh Sneferu
The Bent Pyramid, who's top is built at the shallower angle, lending the
pyramid a visibly "bent" appearance.

We had a late lunch back in Giza at Saheb Sahbo for the traditional Egyptian meal of Koshary. It was incredible! 4 El Lebeny Axis, Nazlet Al Batran, Al Haram, Giza Governorate 3525110, Egypt

In the Evening we watched the Great Pyramid Light Show

The previous day we visit The Great Pyramid of the Giza Necropolis and see the Grand Gallery, King's Chamber and Camel Ride to the Panoramic View. Then we take a Felucca Ride on the Nile. Plus more Pyramid Light Show.    • One Day at the Giza Plateau and Nile River
