Welcome to Buckingham Palace. Join two of our curators as we explore the State Rooms and some of the many treasures displayed.
In the Picture Gallery discover notable features such as paintings by Hayter, Canaletto and a double portrait from 1638 by Van Dyck of Thomas Killigrew, showcasing intricate details related to his mourning.
Among the Collection and on display in the State Dining Room view a detailed Apollo clock from around 1810, purchased by the future George IV, and the remarkable sculpture of Mars and Venus by Canova in the Marble Hall, one of the prized treasures in the Royal Collection.
