Join us in celebrating a remarkable legacy. After 26 years, Jeff Crumbaugh and Lois Bressette are passing the torch of Great Lakes Endurance, a premier race series they built on a foundation of wild trails, ecological respect, and community.

The Race Director, a short film focused on the Grand Island Trail Races (50K, Marathon, and Half Marathon), tells their story. It’s a tribute to the passion project that brought countless runners together and a testament to the community they created.

The Great Lakes Endurance name will live on, serving as our Midwest hub for trail running. The five hallmark races - Rock River Canyon, Two Hearted Trail Run, Waugoshance Trail Run, Grand Island, and Tahqua Trail Run - will return in 2026 as we carry on this incredible tradition.
