Hi, I’m Don. My girlfriend and I love hiking together and wanted a way to relive our own hikes, quietly, fully, from our own perspective.

Along the way, we thought, why not let the rest of the world enjoy them too?

In this video, you’ll walk with us through Nieuwe Heide, a serene nature area near Son en Breugel in the southern Netherlands. Covering over 270 hectares, it features a mix of pine and deciduous forests, heath patches, and small ponds, creating a varied, peaceful landscape. Originally planted to stabilize the soil, today it’s a quiet haven for hikers and wildlife alike.

You’ll follow snow-covered trails, see frost on the heather, and watch winter light on the calm terrain. Temperatures were around -3 °C, making it crisp, quiet, and truly ice-cold.

No talking, no music, no rush, just walking, natural movement, and the feeling of being there.
