Hi im Brad, the alignment technician at Mead's Automotive! In this video I show how to use the specialty products 14×16mm slot punch, (part # 74920) to slot the fram for use of a cam bolt. this tool is used for certain year models of chrysler 300, dodge challengers and chargers.
When aligning these cars, the subframe can be moved side to side, or front to back to affect camber/caster. In some cases this does not allow for enough adjustment to reach specifications, so the fram must be slowed where the front lower control arm meets the frame, in order for a cam bolt to operate correctly.
