If you want to witness the thrilling stories of history on a one-day vacation near Kolkata, you can come to the ancient historical city of Andul, located just 20 kms from Kolkata. In Andul, there is a river that is about to be lost in the history of Bengal, the Saraswati River. Built on its western bank, Andul Rajbari is the only example of Doric architecture in Bengal, a royal palace about 60 feet high. This palace was founded by Raja Rajnarayan Roy Bahadur in 1830 AD. In this video, I have presented to you the history, tradition and architecture of this palace.
