Shepton Mallett Antique Fair “oh lovely”

Hello, and welcome to our new channel, inspired by our friends Terry and Tom over at ⁨@FINDSTheVintageStore⁩! Until now, our main platform has been on Facebook and TikTok under the name Discovering Ancestors and Their Descendants, where we purchase ephemera in the hope of reuniting it with family descendants.

Beyond this passion project, we love spending our time exploring car boot sales, yard sales, flea markets, antique fairs, and auctions across the UK—always on the lookout for something special. We’re especially drawn to all things vintage, with a particular interest in Bakelite, kitchenware, and personalised ephemera. If we find a vintage photograph with a name on the back, we do our best to trace its story and, hopefully, reconnect it with a living relative.

This week we went to Shepton Mallett Antique and Collectors Fair and got a little haul of goodies.
