👁 About this video : In today's video it's time to add a small upgrade for the Jeep Wrangler that makes a big difference! Adding the locking gas cap is a great option that the new models come with! This is a great way to hide the exposed gas cap and give you the security of being able to lock it and have a flush design! It's a quick and easy job, the tail light has to be removed which is only held on with one bolt. That one bolt can be loosened with the tool used to take the doors off and that's it. Once the tail light is off, the back side of the stock gas cap has four tabs that need to be pushed to pop it off, it just takes some wiggling and maneuvering your hand around to pop them all off. You don't have to remove the actual gas cap but I did so it was out of the way. Then it's just as easy to slide the new one on and put everything back together! The center console armrest is easy of course and I like how much more comfortable it is and the fact that there are small storage pockets on both sides.
