When heat training natural hair the proper way, the disulfide bonds of the hair are slowly loosened in a controlled way (*on purpose) for easier straightening and minimal reversion. This method is not for those who like to rock their curls often or for those who do not want to alter their natural curl pattern in any way. It is a great alternative for those who want to regularly wear their hair straight without using chemicals.
