Balcones de Oblatos 4K Walking Tour

A Forgotten Neighborhood Called Balcones de Oblatos
Although Balcones de Oblatos, located in the eastern part of the city, is not difficult to reach, it has historically been one of Guadalajara's most overlooked neighborhoods.

Very close to the Barranca de Oblatos, its streets are characterized by being named after haciendas, due to the fact that in the 17th century, the hacienda of a Catholic congregation known as "Los Oblatos del Salvador" was built in this area.

The flooding they suffered in September is still fresh in the minds of its residents, which damaged especially the houses on sloping areas and left the pavement in terrible condition.
