Mane Six Redesign - [ SPEEDPAINT ] [ MLP ]

I love these girls so much,,
If y'all want me to redesign any other ponies let me know!! I'd love to do this again

Aaand some design notes in case anyone got curious~

PINKIE PIE: I didn't do much for Pinkie bc I already like how she is! I made her hair a lot more textured, and I gave her some colorful freckles and highlights that I think kinda look like confetti n' streamers!

APPLEJACK: I gave her some spots to make her look a bit (not a lot) more like a "natural horse", as well as made her tan instead of orange! I'm not super into orange so I like this a lot better! I also made one if the apples in her CM green to match her eyes

FLUTTERSHY: I lost all of the sketch footage for her unfortunately :( BUT I do still have the colors! I gave her kinda beetle/butterfly wings because I think they suit her better than any kind of bird and fit her name better. I also made her a bit more on the green side of yellow, just to give this design some difference from the original! Her mane is now shorter and messier, because when working and living with animals I don't think her hair would be as neat as it is...

RARITY: Rarity was... Tough. Originally I wanted to give her a wine red mane, because I like red more than I like purple. But it didn't work out, especially since I wanted to keep the blue accents element from her actual design. So instead I went for a more blue-violet color scheme, and gave her a stripe in her mane to keep it from looking boring! I put her hair up because I think she'd style it more and gave her a beard because I can.

RAINBOW DASH: Another bit of footage lost. I modeled her markings and wing shape after the peregrine falcon, which is the fastest flying bird! I made the rainbow a bit less saturated to be easier on the eyes and made her eyes red instead of cerise to match her personality better. Her mane is also much shorter! Her cutie mark is now a tornado because I think it fits way better and fits every color into it!
(Also I shaped up her markings a bit after I stopped recording so they look different than actually shown jdbfhc)

TWLIGHT: Also a challenge. I made her mane longer and gave it a light yellow stripe instead of the purple to make a nice pop color, and also dappled some stars in! I dont think that unicorn Twilight would have the stars or light gradient, but alicorn Twi definitely would! I darkened her coat and also gave her owl wings. I changed her eyes to the same pink as in her cutie mark to stand out more, and changed her cutie mark to the phases of the moon! Each phase would represent one member of the six, and the one in the middle would stand for harmony!
