Chronicles of Catfishes 16 Kampango Catfish

Catfish are among the most diverse & successful living vertebrates, accounting for nearly 1 in every 20 vertebrate species (Well over 3,000 total, some perhaps undiscovered)

One of the many catfish species in Africa. Felt weird to only have 1 bagrid species so far (chronciles 13) a small one, and also felt time to cover a 3rd African catfish (yes yes electric catfish(es) are coming sooner or later). Asia of course has some large bagrid catfish too. Plus is neat there are some large endemic to unique regions/ lakes. The African great rift lakes themselves & huge diversity of cichlids there are just as impressive & noteworthy in their own right, was concerned how to not have those overshadow trying to feature the catfish species lol, until realizing it's like a puzzle/ chain. Have to have a setting, but the catfish & other species do relate to each other.
