Max Reger - AUS TIEFER NOT SCHREI ICH ZU DIR (op.67)

Max Reger's "Aus Tiefer Not Schrei Ich zu Dir" (well suited for Lent) from his opus 67 encapsulates what I like most about him. Reger's harmonization in slower movements.

In this rendition played on my Hauptwerk Organ on the "Noordbroek" sampled set, we can hear the melody played in the bass on the Bourdon 16' and Prestant 8'. At the start only one flute in the manuals but second repetition another one is added. I chosen the "Noordbroek" sampled set (which is a baroque organ!) because the acoustics is really breathtaking - together with of course its overall sound.
