A simple but effective tarp set up which is also great for beginners. In this video I set my OEX Bush Pro tarp up in an A-frame configuration, leaving long guy lines which are tied with a taut-lune hitch knot - this allows you to change the configuration for an open shelter. I attached the tarp to the ridge line using prusik knots, you can however just drape the tarp over the ridgeline, this would allow you to hang items underneath the tarp. I demonstrate how to tie both the taut-line hitch and the prusik knot.
