Teeth Study

It was kind of an accident buying these canvases… I didn’t fully read how small they were, assuming they’d actually be 20cmx20cm (not so much bigger, but twice the size still) as those were the other canvases I was looking at… Just sorta clicked buy now and they showed up half the size. Its fine though, because this gave me a good excuse to practice small close ups of facial features I haven’t practiced in a while; the last painting being an ear, and this one being teeth. It’s great to have done this piece as I’ve constantly been staring at 4+ yr old work that I did with giant teeth that I had considered pretty good, and not properly having had the chance to do teeth all this time, it was scary to try again.

In a little while I’ll be done with my travel painting (will continue to paint, just in my bedroom which feels less exciting) and so to wrap it up I’ll be making a video on all the equipment I use to make all this happen. Sneak peeks and things will be on my insta, and hopefully that video will be out this month!
