The DISC Assessment is used by many corporate companies to help place their employees in roles where they will excel.
The tool gives us four distinct personality types:
Dominance- activity, questions, direct, forceful, outspoken
Influence- active, accepting, outgoing, enthusiastic, lively
Steadiness- thoughtful, accepting, gentle, accommodating
Conscientiousness- thoughtful, questioning, analytical, precise, attention to detail
There can be 12 possible types, including pure results as well as combinations:
DI, D, DC, CD, C, CS, SC, SI, S, IS, I, ID
At a company workshop last Thursday (12/11/2025) I took the DISC and got a strong C result. I am retaking the truity version of the test at home today to see if the results are the same, and to see if I can make sense of these results and light of my recent typings in other personality systems.
