What is a Verb?
A verb is a word or group of words that indicates an action, a situation, or a state of being. The part of a verb that describes the action the subject performs is called the verb. The heart of an English phrase is a verb. Verbs are words that show an action or a state of being. They also indicate time, either past, present or future. Basically, verbs are the words that make a sentence action packed and interesting to read. Verb is one of the most important English grammar. You cannot complete a sentence without verb.
