राजा दाऊद के वफ़ादार समर्थक | Life of David | Message for Youths | by Pastor Finney

पिछले क्लास में हमने अध्ययन किया कि कैसे दाऊद ने यरुशलेम छोड़ा, और उसके साथ करेती, पलेती और गत्ती भी थे। ये लोग जो दाऊद की सफलता के पहले से उसके साथ वफादार थे, इन अंधेर के समय में भी उसके साथ चिपके रहे। अधिक उल्लेखनीय है - और दुखद यह बात है की दाऊद के शासनकाल के इन कठिन क्षणों में, उसके आस-पास परदेशी लोग उसके समर्थन में खड़े है, और उसके खुद के देशवासी और स्वयं के परिवार उसके संग खड़े नहीं रहे!
जब दाऊद ने अपने वफादार समर्थकों के झुंड को देखा, तो गत्ती इत्ते पर उसकी आंख पड़ी। दाऊद ने देखा कि कैसे एक विदेशी उसके प्रति इतनी वफादारी का भारी जोखिम उठा रहा है! तो सवाल यह उठता है - आख़िर क्यों?

In the last class we studied how as David left Jerusalem, he was accompanied by the Cherethites, Pelethites and the Gittites. These men who were faithful to David before he became successful also stuck with him during these dark hours. And in these defining moments of his latter reign, it is more remarkable – and tragic - that David finds himself rallied by foreigners, and his own countrymen and his own family were nowhere to be found!
As David watched the procession of his faithful supporters, Ittai the Gittite caught his eye. David couldn’t understand why this newly arrived foreigner took the risk of such open loyalty to David. The question arises - WHY?
