I made this video on 8/31/2024. The car I used for this test is my RX28D-G1 with 2500KV motor and Jomurema Hardbody.
If you've seen my video "Chasing tenth ⏱️| Camber + Low Spoiler 🤷♂️", • Chasing tenth ⏱️| Camber + Low Spoiler 🤷♂... you will notice that it took me a while to get the car in the 7.0 seconds fast lap and in 34 laps I only hit 7.0 twice! On that day, I did another test and that is to test the Reflex Racing Full Ceramic bearings vs the $8 Steel bearings. All I did was removed the steel and install the full ceramics. In this video, you will see how smoother the car go around the track hitting fast laps consistently (7.1's). In 34 laps with the Full Ceramics, the car hit 7.0 fast laps 12 TIMES! I didn't do anything to the car other than changed the steel bearings to full ceramics and right away the car got "zippier".
I also made a comparison video between Yutori lubed steel vs hybrid ceramic bearings (you can watch it here: • Track TESTED! Steel vs Ceramic RC Bearings... ) and if I go by the feel, both felt the same. Now with this Reflex Racing full ceramic bearings, you can really tell that the car got faster. Even if you just watch the video. That car has 2500KV motor but it looks faster than that.
It is an expensive set of bearings that I would recommend to use for races only. For practice, just use the cheaper steel set.
