During the sacred Sinhala-Tamil New Year in Sri Lanka, The Monk Minh Tue and fellow monks brought warmth and compassion to local communities by offering over 450 New Year gift packages to those in need.
🏯 At temples where the Sangha stayed—such as Balagalla Saraswathi Piriwena and Sri Ambarukkarama Temple—these offerings were not only material support but also spiritual blessings. Representing the group were Mr. Phuoc Nghiem (group leader) and Mr. Than Bao (volunteer), who respectfully conveyed the monks’ deep care and metta to the local people.
🐾 A touching moment unfolded when a small dog gently tugged at the robe of patches of Monk Phuc Giac as the group prepared to leave the temple. This innocent gesture was a moving symbol of the connection between all living beings and the boundless compassion that flows from the monastic heart.
