My RC Top Pick for 2025 ! Hobao TT 2 0 - This Has Blown My Expectations !

Today’s video is a big one because I’m finally sharing my RC Top Pick for 2025 – a truck that has genuinely blown my expectations out of the water. Every year I like to choose one model from my collection that has stood the test of time, abuse, and real-world running… and for 2025, that honour goes to the Hobao Hyper TT 2.0.

Why the Hobao TT 2.0?

This isn’t a first-run hype video or a honeymoon phase review. I’ve lived with this truck for over a year, and it’s earned my trust the hard way. I’ve pushed it way beyond what most would consider sensible. Racing, bashing, jumping, speed runs, hard landings, bad decisions – it’s taken all of it and come back asking for more.

I’ve run this truggy on 2S, 3S, and 4S, and no matter how I’ve driven it, it’s been consistently strong, predictable, and ridiculously fun. Quite honestly, it’s one of those rare RCs that just makes you smile every time you pull the trigger.

This truck came to me as a brand-new roller last year, gifted by the legendary RC Fairy, and I want to say a massive thank you for the continued support and belief in the channel. Since then, it’s been absolutely hammered… and loved every minute of it.

On 4S, this thing is an animal – fast, controllable, and confidence-inspiring. I’ll be honest, I don’t ever plan on selling this truck. That’s how much I trust it. In fact, 2025 might even see some 6S speed run experiments… because I genuinely believe the platform can handle it.

Hobao Hyper TT 2.0 – Platform Highlights

The Hobao Hyper TT 2.0 Pro Truggy is built on a seriously solid foundation:

3mm hard-anodised CNC aluminium chassis

Full metal bevel gear differentials with anti-leak housings

MOD 1 gearing throughout

12mm big bore aluminium shocks

CNC aluminium shock towers

Adjustable geometry with pill inserts

Hardened steel drivetrain components

Proper race-inspired layout that works just as well for bashing
