Former Israeli National Security Adviser Jacob Nagel is a visiting professor at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where he leads the Advanced Defense Research Institute to promote high-value defense technology development. At the directive of the Prime Minister, he also leads the Nagel Commission to formulate a new national security doctrine, make recommendations on the IDF’s force building needs, and plan the defense budget for the coming decade.
