How to Downgrade ANY Google Pixel from Android 15 back to Android 14?

There hasn't been as much hype for the big update to Android 15 as we've seen in previous new releases.
And there are some Google Pixel owners who have upgraded to the latest version and are just not happy with the result.

So today, I want to show you how to downgrade any Google Pixel devices from the latest stable build of Android 15 back down to Android 14.

Before you can downgrade your device, there are some things that need to be setup ahead of time.
For example, your Google Pixel must be bootloader unlocked for Google's Android Flash Tool will work.

Since we're using the Android Flash Tool to downgrade in this video, you will also need a desktop or laptop PC with Chrome, Opera, or Edge web browser as they are the ones that currently support WebUSB.

You will also need to enable Developer Mode so that you can toggle the USB Debugging toggle within the hidden Developer Options menu.
We can gain access to the Developer Options menu by tapping the Build Number option within the About Phone section until you see it has been enabled.

And then finding it within the System section of the Settings application.

You can see that I have Android 15 installed on my Pixel 8 here.
The bootloader is unlocked and I've set everything up as mentioned in the previous section.
Now, I'm going to connect the phone to the PC with a USB cable and then bring up the Google Pixel Factory Images website
Which I'll have linked down below as well.

On this page, we're going to scroll through it until you find your supported Google Pixel phone.
You'll then see a list of firmware for that specific device.
And it lists the oldest firmware at the top.
So scroll to the bottom of that section and you'll see the latest version of Android 15

Now, if we follow this list back up, you'll then find the latest version of Android 14.
Be sure to skip over the Telus and Verizon firmware. . .unless you bought the phone from that mobile carrier.
And then click on the Flash option for the version of Android you want to downgrade to.

You'll be taken to the Android Flash Tool with that firmware already selected.
We then need to select our Google Pixel from this drop-down list.
And then confirm the extra options here.

Again, if you want, you can have the Android Flash Tool relock the bootloader for you.
I don't want to do that here, so I'm going to uncheck that option. But it's up to you whether you choose to relock the bootloader or not.

When you're ready, click the confirm button and now we just wait for the Android Flash Tool to do all of the work for us.
It's going to download that firmware in the background
Unpack its contents
And then manually flash the firmware images to our Google Pixel device one file at a time.

Make sure that you aren't touching the cable in any way
Or interacting with any of the menus that you see on the phone.

We want to maintain a secure connection to our phone, and let the website do all of the work for us.

When it finishes up, you'll see your Google Pixel reboot one last time.
And you'll then be taken to the Android activation screen.
Once you have gone through all of that, you can check the About Phone section to confirm you're back to Android 14 like you wanted.
You should be able to stop the update from being automatically installed by enabling Developer Mode again
And disabling the toggle for Automatic System Updates
