If you’ve watched any of my films, you’ll probably note that I LOVE to jump around all over the place, creating a general impression of who the couple is and how their wedding was by weaving in and out of little subplots all throughout the day. This is a very “Chris Nolan” way of approaching a wedding edit - something I’ll probably talk on later - but it can be difficult to know just how to go about editing in a non-linear way.
Key take aways - find common DNA amongst your images - they’ll help tell your story. I’ll likely do another video about non-linear editing later to dive into some other larger level elements - until then, leave any questions or comments below!!
