Najib Razak's stepson Riza Aziz charged with money laundering, pleads not guilty

Hollywood producer Riza Aziz, who is also the stepson of Malaysia's former Prime Minister Najib Razak, has been slapped with five counts of money laundering involving US$248 million from the 1MDB state investment fund. He has pleaded not guilty. Riza Aziz is the third person in his family to face charges in the scandal. If found guilty, he can be jailed up to five years for each count, and fined millions.
