My name is Marcel van Dongen, I am the owner of M.A.T.C.H. - Martial Arts Training Center Holland - and the head of Doce Pares eskrima and WEKAF in the Netherlands, certified by SGM Diony Canete supreme grand master of Doce Pares (RIP) and Jeet kune do instructor.

During the more 30 years I've been teaching I trained over a 1.000 students in my own school M.A.T.C.H. and during international seminars. I started my Martial arts career with Judo and jiu jitsu where got my black belt, after that I started with shootfighting and finally he entered the world of Jeet kune do and Filipino Martial Arts. These styles of Martial arts had it all.

Filipino Martial Arts are a perfect blend with other Martial Arts styles. Mainly because Filipino Martial Arts, like eskrima are a weapon based system.

This means that you always think from a weapon. Even if you don't see one, always expect a weapon. That is the thinking in Filipino Martial Arts. Fighting with a weapon requires a different mindset, although the similarities with other forms of martial arts outweigh the differences. That means that FMA blends perfectly with other forms of Martial Arts.

Now it's my mission to show every one the beauty of these dynamic and effective forms of Martial arts. I will use this channel to share knowledge and help you understand the principles of this dynamic and complete form of Martial Arts.
