This work was created as a video piece inspired by my performance with the SONICWARE LIVEN Evoke and the BASTL Instruments KASTLE DRUM, blending their unique sounds into a narrative-driven visual experience.

This piece is a picture book–style video work 📖 based on the concept of a little robot 🤖 who reincarnates from another dimension and wanders freely through the human world 🌍.
The main focus is, of course, the performance video and the music 🎶, but I wanted to try a slightly different approach this time. The title Tabi means “journey” in Japanese 🚶‍♂️.

While working on official presets for the SONICWARE LIVEN Evoke, I developed one of the patterns further, refining it into a cinematic-style track 🎬. Even though the pattern in this video wasn’t chosen, it’s one of my personal favorites 💫.

Since the atmosphere of the music felt like it could carry a story, I decided to pair it with fantasy-like imagery 🌌. You’ll notice a few short video clips within the work, but most of it is composed of still images 🖼️.

It’s not stop-motion animation, but more like a picture book brought to life ✨. To keep the experience universal, I intentionally left out subtitles or dialogue, so anyone can simply dive into the world regardless of language 🌐.

The idea is for each listener and viewer to freely expand their own imagination through the work 💭. I’d love to hear your impressions, so feel free to leave a comment 💬.
