Over Labour Weekend 2024 the Ferrymead Railway celebrated their 60th Anniversary. On a wet Saturday the 26th was a photographers day with a variety of locomotives including steam, diesel and electric hauling passenger and goods trains + regular public running days on the Sunday and Monday with steam locomotives F13 and D140 double heading. There were also displays of heritage stock including Wd 357 which was parked up at Ferrymead Station with its consist being what was first ran at the Railway 60 years ago.
