Since we made this video we have found a better way to cut the clearance for the .02 or .015 shim, using a stationary benchtop sander with different grits of paper.

We buy our shims on E-bay, they are for the Shovelhead motor.
Do a search for Harley rocker arm shims and you will get several, make sure you buy the .02 or .015. Do not use shims thinner than this because they have a tendency to disintegrate and fall into the motor.
We have had mixed results with shimming the rocker arms, some bikes it helped, others not at all, the best results is with installing the Rocker Lockers to eliminate the rotation of the shaft hitting the bolt. The Rocker Lockers also help eliminate most cases where the push rod was rubbing against the pushrod tube, by better positioning the rocker arm assembly.
