MAJOR SPOILERS for Squid Game Season 3!

Finished season 3 and has been actively crashing out ever since. This is the result of that.

Seong Gihun really turned out to be one of THE characters of all time.
Despite some initial mixed feelings about the season, it wrecked me completely and it keeps circling in my brain. I keep coming back to how much this characters journey means to me. Gihuns story stayed true to its core: the strength of kindness, hope, determination and love. I thought I was prepared for this shows ending (with the grief it would surely come with) but it's really been a lot and making this video helped me process my feelings. This song sums up so many complicated emotions and I wanted to show Gihuns journey from season 1 to season 3: how he changed and how he stayed the same. The line "you're on your own kid" paired with the visuals from the last episode just chokes me up.

TLDR; I cried more than once editing this. I just love Gihun a lot, you guys. Best protagonist.

Very thankful to Squid Game and its fandom these last months for being an endless source of joy and inspiration. It's weirdly turned into a comfort show to me, and it's been one of those shows I've ended up making so many videos for. This is likely not the last SG video I'll make, but it is still kind of a milestone and thank you to this show, the character and the fandom. The first SG edit I did was one for Gihuns character, so it feels fitting. Thank you for the journey, it's been an incredible ride.
