All hell broke lose at the end, We both had enough!! Patient / Caregiver reality

Hey, yall.... we have been in the hospital since Sunday and Jordan has been in CICU and moved to CCU, it has been a long road already, and a full recovery to cone. Both for him and for myself, i'm so glad he has a really good cardiac care team, that's not only helping him but helping me as well.

Most of you guys already know that we care for my mother love which is his mother. She had a brainstem stroke some years ago and he has been her full-time caregiver, so still having a care for her. In addition to now this new journey with Jordan and we still have Phillip, which is our 14-year-old. So just trying to put everything in perspective, make sure that none of us are overdoing anything. We are giving ourselves grace and I'm taking care of myself as far as a caregiver in battling with my own health issues to make sure that I will continue in my healing.

One blessing that came out of everything over what we have been dealing with the past few years is that when it was my mom going through this, and I was her caregiver. I already went through the would've or should've could've. I already went through the putting myself on the back burner and not taken care of myself, and I see how that landed me in bad conditioneith my previous health issues, after my mom passed.I was going through having to get a heart stent and all of the other things to get myself back into shape. Im now helping Jordan which i will do with Grace, I just know the balance, the needed time, patience and boundaries on both sides. I know how to listen response react. It's ok to not answering messages text calls, take our time, to heal on our end and help him while allowing him to help himself and allow him to rebuild and assist him in doing the work. keeping God 1st, in it and allowing God to lead us. Sit in it and not push ourselves. Lean on your source and your support team. Pay attention to those who give and pour into you as you pour into you.
