Are We Safe in Bangkok? 😔 We Left the U.S. to Escape This

Yesterday, there was a violent incident very close to us here in Bangkok, Thailand. We received a wave of concerned messages from around the world asking if we were okay — some even suggested we leave Thailand.
As Americans, this experience hit differently. Not just because it was close to us physically… but because it reminded us of something we left behind.
In this video, we share our reaction, our perspective as Americans, and why—despite everything—we still feel safer here than we did back in the U.S.
