Mississauga is a large city in Canada, next to Toronto on Lake Ontario. Mississauga East was a federal and provincial electoral district in Ontario. It was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1988 to 2003 and in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1975 to 2007.

Applewood is a suburban area in Mississauga, Ontario. It's made up of several neighborhoods and is bordered by Burnhamthorpe Road, Cawthra Road, the Queen Elizabeth Way, and the Etobicoke Creek. The area got its name from the apple orchards that used to be there before it was developed.
