I don’t want to lie, but I was at my lowest times after graduating from college. My friends kept telling me I needed to relax and take a break, but honestly, I wasn’t feeling it at first. Then, out of nowhere, I impulsively booked a ticket to Hawaii and just went for it.
I didn’t do the typical Hawaii stuff—I didn’t surf or even go into the ocean. Mostly, I just ate a lot, visited a few beautiful spots, and took time to just chill. That trip gave me the space I needed to breathe and reset. Sometimes, it’s okay to take it slow and enjoy the little things.
