This is a mock rehearsal that I shot at one my intensives, called “ON SET”.

The "ON SET" Intensive is part of THE GALEN HOOKS METHOD, where I share my approach to the art form and business of dance.

I have intensives that work on artistry and auditioning, and as my students started booking jobs, they told me they needed guidance on what to do once they booked the job.

Industry dancing uses a much different skill set than dancing in class or in pieces you shoot for fun, and this intensive is where you can learn those skills, including production aspects like paperwork and contracts.

Nothing like this existed when I was pursuing a dance career, and nothing else like it exists today where you’re getting practical, industry-specific tools from someone who worked consistently as a dancer for over 20 years.
