This video highlights two key observations.
First, within just a week of fluctuating high and extreme low tides, waves, seawater, and sand have overtaken Golden Beach park, directly opposite the new break south of Military Jetty. The once-popular footpath—frequented by lots of elderly residents—is now buried beneath sand and debris, forcing walkers to either navigate the road or abandon their usual route. Additionally, pooling salt water is killing off the grass, creating an unpleasant odor. This transformation has happened remarkably fast, altering the landscape in mere days.
Second, the video captures how the new break appears at super low tide. It reveals the channel it has carved and the substantial volume of water and mud being discharged into the pristine ocean. Surprisingly, the amount of outflow from this break seems to match or even exceed that of the larger northern break. The footage also showcases the next potential breakthrough area further south.
