"Hood To Vegas"
A collaborative documentary by Greg and myself about a South Auckland based hip-hop dance which I am apart of called Dziah Dance Academy. It follows our journey from New Zealand Nationals to Las Vegas to compete at the World Hip-Hop International 2013, it also features our boys varsity dance crew also under Dziah (KRASH also qualified through to Worlds). This 20 minute duration was not what we both intended to hand in for our final submission due to our uni lectures request. However it still manages to capture our team spirit through trainings and at competitions, plus our 'never-say-die' attitude and.. our South Auckland humour as well. Although my team placed 20th, it was all about giving it our all and making our friends and family proud.
This documentary was a submission in our year 4 BVA final assessment.
