Very excited to announce our next release, ‘Anger Management’, from two legends of dance music… Cass / Baunder.

With over 150 tracks and remixes to his name, Cass needs no introduction. We go way back - he was always popping into the shop for a bit of banter, digging for tunes, and dropping off fire releases on his Fire label.

He’s now teamed up with Baunder from Argentina - a superb producer with very serious credentials, releasing on many of the top labels, whilst collaborating with the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, and then also being an exceptional DJ in his own right.

The concept for ‘AngerMan’ had been sitting in one of Cass’s notebooks for… well, forever. It just needed the right collaboration to bring it to life. With Baunder on board, and Cass’s daughter Rubee Rose stepping in on spoken word duties, the vision started to take shape. Nicely.___“…Pablo, aka Baunder came into my world through this incredible remix he’d done on a project I was a part of back-in-the-day - that’s coming out later on in ’25. So when I spoke to him about that - we just ended up spending the best of 2x hours on the call, and just felt very in-sync with what we like+love, inside and outside of music. So to have the chance to work with him on this concept was both humbling (that he would want to) and hugely inspirational…And then, as if it couldn’t be anymore sonically soul enriching, once the demo was complete - Norm_H from Stripped Management played it to Enzo from Plastic Fantastic, and he went I’m in. And that really is full cosmic circle behaviour, because the experiences, conversations and ultimately music that I took away from the shop in Covent Garden were not only genuinely inspirational, but ultimately greatly instrumental in me being involved meaningfully in a creative process I rapidly came to love more than almost anything - making and playing music to and for others.
