Hi all,
Welcome to Jshimz channel.
In this video I will show you how to make Cold-Processed Soap using Himalayan salt and pink clay as natural colourant.
Safety precautions:
Don't forget to use all safety equipment as the lye/sodium hydroxide can burn your skin.
Safety equipment needed:
Eye google, hand gloves, face mask, and long sleeve cloth when handling lye/sodium hydroxide to avoid skin burn and fumes.
Early preparation:
1) Froze distilled water a day earlier
Ingredients:
320g Coconut oil
170g Distilled Water
150g Olive oil/extra virgin olive oil
92g Lye/sodium hydroxide
70g Cocoa butter
60g Himalayan salt
40g Shea butter
40g Castor oil
5g Lavender essential oil
3g Rose geranium essential oil
2 tsp Pink clay
Cure for 4 weeks and the soap are ready to use
