Our story has a little bit of everything to say the least, Childhood sweethearts, that were in a long-distance relationship, with breakups and makeups, and a lot in between. We met in the summer of 2005 when we were just 13 at a summer camp called Gull Lake Ministries. Duncan from New York and Ashton from that summer camp in Michigan.

Our relationship from the very beginning has been long distance and the memories we have made through the past 11 years are priceless. Our relationship started with summer crushing that grew into a deep love as we spent one week together every summer. We letter wrote, emailed, had hour long phone calls, Skyped, and eventually went on dates. On our first date we had to walk 2 miles to the ice cream shop because we were so young. We soaked up every second we got each summer and spent most of them under the stars. Long distance has been hard but we would not trade the friendship we have developed for anything.

Our story isn't perfect and we have had some rough patches. After about 7 years of liking each other we ended our friendship for good and we didn't speak for over 4 years, but by the grace of God we came back to each other. Those 4 years apart were life changing and the Lord did some amazing stuff in our lives as he shaped us into the man and woman of God that he created us to be, and now we are so excited to enter into a marriage that will last a lifetime with our best friend at our side.

God has been so faithful and we hope that as you see us together you see the greatness of God and our love for each other. We are stoked to share this with you!
