lake district e bike ride in Waterworld AKA the Troutbeck valley. Walkers galore one with ear buds in totally oblivious to the fact he's wandering on a byway open to motorbikes and 4 x 4's . After the recent heavy rain. It was just a little bit damp in places , I started in Windermere and headed up Wain Lane to Troutbeck and then down to Long Green head before heading back towards Garburn road and turing right at the juncion of Dubbs road, Dubbs road was really deep in places ...... And then to cap off this short ride the heavens opened about 3/4 of a mile from home. Two near crashes as well, first one i was extremely lucky not to fall, luck rather than skill saved me I think
