Megas XLR, an underappreciated and sadly short-lived show from the oughts, had by far the best depiction of the average experience of every single DMV in every single state in the entire country. There was also a road test Coop had to take, but that part was more outlandish and cooler than it would be in an actual DMV so I cut that out. I can upload it to a separate video for whomever wants it.
It cannot be overstated just how much the DMV sucks. It's SO BAD. Have literally never had a positive, quick, or even straightforward experience in any DMV in any state I've lived in. This clip is the closest you'll get in fiction at getting across what a nightmare it is, and the dread one will face at the prospect of inevitably having to go there.
