What is the common thread between Soul Train's Don Cornelius, Paul Williams of The Temptations, and R&B soul artists Donny Hathaway & Phyllis Hyman? Sadly and tragically, they are all known to have died by suicide. My Jam Fam sisters and I presented a compiled piece of these legendary artists at a linedance party fundraiser for Suicide Awareness. Thank you to Donetta Gunnells Hall and L'titia Gunnells Hall for spearheading their much needed cause, "Turn Up for Hope" which raises funds for a suicide awareness walk in October. Thank you for inviting us to perform, and thank you to my Jam Fam, Susan Headley, AmberMarie Jones, Courtnee Smith , Crystal Moore , LaTisha Donald Miisha Davis Tamaya Allen Christiane Townsend ,and Valerie Duplessis for your time, effort, and commitment towards our dance.
