Elevator 'SPECIAL REED SWITCH' examined - Schindler floor selector!

Just a reed switch? ...there's a little more to it that that! I've created a model where I explain how Schindler created a latching floor selector from a standard reed switch (without relays or power!).
Of course, I start with the basics and work upwards (no pun intended) so that anyone can understand.
