How is it to travel to benin for the first time as an English speaker? It was super hard to communicate with the local people, my first impression of porto novo the capital of benin was terrifying and scaring.
The city looks so old with ugly buildings and terrible roads around the city. Benin felt like it was left behind in 17th century.
The people are not friendly at all and they believe in vudun or voodoo religion which is sad.
