Makeup for Across the Flame | Paris Couture Week SS ‘25
Conceptualised by Gaurav and Marieke Thibault using icons from @MACCosmeticsIndiaYoutube @maccosmetics
A luminescent third eye chakra, symbolic of higher knowledge, intuition, and the sixth sense.
Inspired by the presence of star-seeds, ‘children of the stars, rising from stardust and divine light’.
Scripted on the face, a ‘shloka’ from the Bhagvad Gita Chapter 2, Verse 47:
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
Wrapped in a celestial fever dream, crystals on the face represent a tryst with the cosmic universe.
