The Employees Retirement System (ERS) Board of Trustees 2025 Candidate Forum is an opportunity for you to hear from the candidates directly.
The certified candidates are seated in ballot order. Seated from left to right is Brian Bath, Texas Department of Transportation; and Diane Ruiz, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. ERS Director of Benefits Communication, Kathryn Tesar, served as moderator for the forum.
ERS will mail eligible voters a paper ballot and instructions for convenient, secure and cost-efficient electronic voting. The voting period is May 16 - June 20, 2025. ERS will certify the Board election results on July 24. The term for the new trustee will begin September 1, 2025.
